“Stranger Things” actress and Emmy nominee Millie Bobby Brown talks about dealing with trolls and haters on social media. (Aug. 22)
Millie Bobby Brown is trying to see if blondes really do have more fun.
The 15-year-old actress, who rose to fame with a buzz cut as her character Eleven on Netflix’s “Stranger Things,” ditched her signature brown hair this fall for a fully blonde bob.
Miami-based YSV Hair Salon & Spa showed off the star’s new look on Instagram Wednesday. And believe it or not, this wasn’t Brown’s first hairstyle change of the week.
Another Miami-based salon, Dafne Evangelista Beauty Lounge, shared a series of videos and pictures of a smiling Brown rocking honey highlights and long extensions.
Millie Bobby Brown to Instagram haters: If ‘you don’t like it… scroll past it’
“I have hair for the first time in four years, so it’s good,” Brown gushed about her extensions.
The actress hasn’t debuted either look to her 29 million Instagram followers yet. But it’s safe to say she’s not afraid of daring hair transformations, or even a buzz cut.
The actress shaved her head for the first season of “Stranger Things” in 2016, revealing that it was the “most empowering moment of my whole life.”
“The last strand of hair cut off was the moment my whole face was on show and I couldn’t hide behind my hair like I used to,” she captioned an Instagram video of her hair being shaved. “The only image I had in my head about what I could possibly look like is Charlize Theron in (“Mad Max: Fury Road”).”
She continued: “As I looked at myself and couldn’t see my old self, I realized that now; I have a job to do and that is to inspire other girls that your image or exterior part is not what I think is important. What I find important is caring, loving and inspiring other girls. Thought to share my thoughts during this life changing moment.”
